Mini Facelift, Full Facelift or Neck Lift: Which Fits You?

The right lift is the one that matches where your ageing shows

Facial ageing rarely looks the same on two people: for some it is a softening jawline, for others loose skin under the chin or deeper folds across the whole face. That is why surgeons offer three different operations in Turkey, and why choosing the right one matters more than choosing the biggest one.

1. The mini (lower) facelift

A mini facelift addresses early sagging in the lower face and jawline through shorter incisions. It is the lightest option, with a shorter recovery, and prices start from around €4,000. It suits patients in the early stages of ageing who want a refreshed look rather than a dramatic change.

2. The full facelift

A full facelift lifts and repositions deeper facial tissue across the cheeks, jowls and jawline, with incisions placed along the hairline and behind the ears so scars stay discreet. It is the better choice when sagging is more advanced. Prices start from around €4,500.

3. The neck lift

A neck lift tightens loose skin and bands in the neck and under the chin. It can be performed alone, from about €4,500, for patients whose face still looks fresh but whose neck shows age. If you are unsure whether your neck or your face is the main issue, the surgeon will tell you at the consultation.

4. Combining face and neck

Many patients choose a full face and neck lift together, from around €7,500, because a lifted face next to an untouched neck can look uneven. One operation and one recovery is also more practical when you are travelling. Typical packages include 2 nights in hospital and 4 nights in a hotel.

5. How recovery differs between the options

Visible swelling and bruising usually settle within 2 to 3 weeks, and the final result continues to refine over a few months. A mini facelift generally brings a quicker return to normal life than a full face and neck lift. Plan around 7 nights in Turkey, including the follow-up visit and suture removal. Our face and neck lift recovery guide covers the timeline in detail.

6. How to decide before you travel

Send photos from the front and both sides, and tell your coordinator which areas bother you most. The surgeon will recommend a technique from the photos and confirm it in person. Be cautious of any offer that names one operation for everyone before seeing your face.

Frequently asked questions

Is a mini facelift enough for me?
It works best for mild to moderate sagging in the lower face. If you have loose neck skin or deeper folds, the surgeon may recommend a full lift.

Will scars be visible?
Incisions are placed along the hairline and behind the ears to keep them as discreet as possible.

How long should I stay in Turkey?
Typically around 7 nights, including the hospital stay and the follow-up visit.
